Where do you work?I’m senior vice president, sales and marketing, at Sirion Therapeutics Inc., a company that I cofounded 5 years ago with three other gentlemen.
How long have you been in ophthalmology?Twelve years
What is one tip you find helpful in balancing work and personal life?Outsource, outsource, outsource. And make sure you put yourself first or a very close second to remain balanced.
Who was the most influential person in your life as a child?My parents, who told me that I could do whatever I put my mind to.
Who is the most influential person in your life today?My family is both influential and important.
What is your favorite family ritual?Sunday morning breakfast with a newspaper.
What is your favorite part of the day?The quiet of the morning before the world wakes up.
What do you like best about belonging to OWL?Meeting other professional women who share a common profession and diverse personalities.
How long have you been a member of OWL, and why did you join?Two years. I joined for professional growth and networking.
